"Dave the beekeeper," owner and operator of Home Place Honey offers a variety of services.
His focus on providing helpful bee-related services grew naturally from his beekeeping experiences. Because bees preserve the balance of nature and give us honey in the process we want to help ensure healthy honey bees thrive in South Central Wisconsin.
Home Place Honey is dedicated to increasing public awareness about the importance of bees, educating youth, and researching how to keep bees healthy. We love honey bees!

Bee & Wasp Removal
If bees or wasps are a nuisance on your property, call
414-491-5667 for help. Clearing bees will be at no charge to you. Wasps or hornets nests cost $50 with $25 for each additional nest removed. Free consulations available.
Home Crafted Hives
Quality craftsmanship goes into our making our homes for bees. Bee boxes and frames are available to purchase. Start your own colony with a great place for your bees to call home. Call 414-491-5667 for prices.
Beekeeping 101
If you're interested in beekeeping as a hobby or business, we offer learning opportunities throughout the year. One-on-one lessons can be arranged to help you on your way to having your own happy, healthy bee colony.

Research Projects
Home Place Honey is dedicated to helping bees thrive in nature. Studying and enhancing the symbiotic relationship between bees and humans is a vital project.
"Honey of a Time" Events​
Join "Queenie the bee" and "Dave the beekeeper" for fun and informative discussions on the life and times of bees. Most events are geared to children but adults may even learn a few fun facts about bees.
